 Thanks for stealing my magazine!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the kind-hearted gentleman who having bought a copy of my magazine ‘Cold War Aircraft Modeller’, decided that it was so good, he would upload it onto a free download site and offer if to the world for nothing. I am so grateful that you’ve taken the time to do this and that the very small amount of money that I make from this venture to cover my costs, has now been reduced further by your oh-so-generous act.

As a result of this I would like to find out who is behind this incredible act of kindness (screen name Grumm) and hope that I can find you, so that I can thank you in person. It’s very rare that modellers will go out of their way to help others in this manner and so I think that it is only fair that I go out of my way to tell you just how grateful I am. But in the meantime, I'd just like to say that although I'm flattered by your interest and help, I'd much rather do this myself and so would request that you remove my magazine from the site.

All the best and I look forward to meeting you soon.

Spence

Cold War Aircraft Modeller - Updated Information

Just a quick note to let those who have ordered a copy of Issue 2 of my magazine, that the 'bubble mailers' have finally arrived this morning and so I will be able to post out your copies next week. Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to ensure that the copies arrived in great shape - something not possible with a standard envelope! Now that I know where to get these protective envelopes from, this will be the way all copies are dispatched from now on - I hope you all approve!

If you haven't yet contacted me, but you want a copy, please let me know and I'll send you all of the details and if you have reserved a copy, but need to know how to pay, or want to reserve a copy to be picked up at Milton Keynes next week, let me know too!

Thanks a lot!

For those that missed out on the first issue of CWAM - I have some exciting news!

Well what about that?! I'm a digital author!  Cold War Aircraft Modeller is now live via Pocketmags, so if you do want a copy you can grab one now - the more the merrier! All subsequent publications will also be available in this format, including future editions of CWAM and also previous and future books published by me. This means that not only do you get the magazine at the click of a button, when you do, you'll have it in a format that will allow you to enlarge the pictures and see detail that cannot be sen in the printed version. It's a very exciting development for this new title!

I have to thank everyone at ADH Publishing who have helped get my magazine online, for those who weren't able to buy a paper copy - and want to save on the postage costs! Thanks guys - this means a lot! :)

Out of print books to be available online!

Following discussions over the last few weeks with ADH, I am now well on the way to being able to offer my first two books and the first edition of Cold War Aircraft modeller in digital ibook format. As there was no plans to do what would be an expensive, limited reprint of these titles, I'm absolutely delighted that they will be available to readers around the world at the click of a button. The other exciting aspect of this format is that the reader will be able to enlarge the images and see far more detail than is possible from the printed pages - perfect for those keen on detail! The magazine will be the first to appear and then the two books "The Garden Of Remembrance' and "One Man's junk" - the latter a very limited-edition title the first time around. Following the sale of the paper copies of each title, this will be the only way that these will be available to the modeller, so I hope that you guys are pleased to see them being available in this format. I'll be posting more information on this exciting development over the next week or so. Onwards and upwards!

Iwata HP-M2 - small in size, big in features...

As The Airbrush Company were so generous in offering me one of the new Iwata HP-M2 airbrushes for review, I've decided to let you see a quick preview of it on here and on my Blog. For the full review, please see Issue 2 of CWAM...
